Do you listen to music in your daily life?
What kind of music do you listen to?
As I mentioned in a previous blog, I love Japanese idols the most,
but since I’m also a fan of English, I listen to Western music as well.
Today, I’d like to introduce a few of my favorite songs,
so I hope you enjoy taking a look!
Maybe some of your favorite songs are on this list too!

1. Invincible — OneRepublic

As you can tell from the title, “Invincible” carries the meaning of being unstoppable,
so it’s a song that can really lift you up when you’re feeling down.

Especially this lyric:
“In the end we lose control, But right now we are invincible.”

It expresses the idea that life rarely goes the way we want,
but right now, we are invincible — so we should have the courage to move forward.
Since this line also includes the song’s title, it serves as the main theme of the track.

2. Dance The Night — Dua Lipa

This song was also featured in the movie Barbie!
Although it has an upbeat and cheerful melody, the lyrics express feelings of anger or sadness toward someone the singer loves .
There are even lines that sound like she’s throwing her frustrations out — saying things like “I been moving close to the edge” or “Baby, no chance”.
Still, she refuses to stop dancing. The message is to dance the night away and forget about the pain, even just for a moment.
So if you ever feel sad or heartbroken, try dancing — it might help you move forward again.

Oh by the way, I also recommend watching Barbie.
If you haven’t seen it yet, definitely give it a try!

3. New Heart — Crash Adams

Some of you may have heard this song on TikTok.
On TikTok, it’s often used in videos where Crash Adams sings while playfully interacting with people on the street,
but the actual lyrics are surprisingly heartbreaking.

The lyrics goes:
“I need a new heart, a new heart.
That doesn’t know who you are, who you are.”
“Cause this one’s broken in two all because of what you did to me.”

These lines describe a longing for a new heart — one that doesn’t know the person he loved.
His current heart is shattered because of that person,
so the only way to forget them is to replace the heart entirely and become someone new.
The rhythmic beat and emotional lyrics make it a song you can really get absorbed in.

I have many more songs I’d love to recommend, but I’ll save those for another time!
