I just got a new keyboard, and I’m really happy with it.
So let me tell you a bit about it!
There are many kinds of keyboards — cheap office membrane keyboards, laptop-style pantograph keyboards, and mechanical keyboards for gaming.
Among then, the one I bought this time is a high-end keyboard with a “magnetic switch”, which is getting popular these days.
Of course, I have reason why I chose this expensive keyboard, so I’ll tell you about it!
The keyboard I bought is called “MIX87”, made by MCHOSE, a new company from China.
This keyboard uses the magnetic switch I talked before, so of course the typing feeling is amazing!
Because it uses magnets, there is no physical contact when you press the key. You can feel a smooth and linear touch at any point.
Thanks to that, my fingers don’t get tired even after typing for a long time. And since it’s magnetic, I can set the actuation point — the depth where the key reacts — from only 0.01mm!
It means I don’t need much power to type, which is really great.
And there is a function called “Rapid Trigger”, which almost all magnetic switch keyboard have.
This is a special system of magnetic switches that turns off the key input the moment you start to release the key.
In normal mechanical keyboards the sensor turns off only after the key goes up to a certain point, so there is a small delay. (Well, it’s really just like 0.1mm, though…)
But with magnetic switches, there is no such delay — the input turns off right when you start to lift the key.
This function is mainly for gaming, but when typing it also works very well together with the linear feeling I mentioned before, giving a comfortable and speedy typing experience!
My favorite thing of this keyboard is the sound!
This keyboard has the best typing sound — it makes a light, soft click-clack sound between sharp and gentle.
You can hear this sound in reviews on YouTube, but if possible I really want you to touch and listen to the real one.
